Samsung has added a new size category to the already wide range of Android devices, and this is with the Samsung Galaxy Note. The Samsung company had already conventional sized Android smartphones in its Galaxy S lines, larger tablets, and intermediate models. Basically, the Galaxy Note is a huge smartphone with a 5.3-inch screen and Gingerbread OS (Android v2.3) which is designed to fit phones, rather than tablets.
The Samsung Galaxy Note is a new product which the company developed with the consumers in mine. It provides a new user experience by combining core benefits of different mobile devices while at the same time maintaining the portability of a smartphone. One novelty offered by the Note is that it comes with the S-Pen, the name given to the stylus. The S-Pen allows users to create notes, edit and share using more style than ever used before.
One app that comes with Samsung Galaxy Note is the S-Memo. It can store handwritten notes and sketches or drawings. It can also accommodate voice recordings, pictures and typed texts.
The hardware specifications of the Galaxy Note include a dual core 1.4 GHz processor, a HD Super AMOLED screen, a 2-MP front facing camera, an 8-MP main camera that can record 1080p video, and support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and HSPA+ 21 Mbps mobile network.
Where does the Note fit in the field of mobile devices: smartphone or tablet, maybe a continuing topic discussed by many consumers. Some stand that the Note is a smartphone having some extra features and it is not a tablet. Others see it as more of a hybrid that can eliminate the need for a larger and separate device. Despite your preferences in size, the Note offers satisfying features like the 4G LTE speeds, cameras, call quality, screen quality and the internal components. These are all high end.
